Rust-Oleum is recalling three specific batches of Spraymate Cold Galvanising Spray Paint (SKU 2701) due to potentially defective cans that may unexpectedly discharge.
CHECK YOUR BATCH NUMBER NOW:
Spraymate batch numbers are on the top of the can, under the cap, next to the nozzle.
AFFECTED BATCHES:
Please check for the following numbers:
- 2701-2116
- 2701-2223
- 2701-2381
The three affected batches were all produced during a five-month period between April and September 2025.
IF YOU HAVE AN AFFECTED CAN:
- STOP USE: Discontinue use immediately.
- HANDLE SAFELY: For transportation, carefully place the can in a box in your vehicle’s boot.
- RETURN FOR REFUND: Return your can/s to the retailer where they were purchased from for a full refund. No receipt? No problem!
