Gardena strengthens retail presence with destination store openings
As part of its ongoing retail innovation strategy, GARDENA has proudly opened its latest destination partner store at Als Hardware in Ruimsig. This rollout forms part of a national initiative to create ‘Store in Store’ concept spaces dedicated to giving passionate gardeners a comprehensive, engaging shopping experience.

At the heart of this approach is the consumer journey. GARDENA has reimagined how its products are presented in-store, ensuring that customers not only see the breadth of the range but also understand how each tool can be applied in their own gardens. Lifestyle imagery, clear point-of-sale material, and inviting displays help to simplify the buying decision while creating a space that feels inspiring and accessible.

Currently, GARDENA has partnered with 14 leading retailers across the country, each offering the full premium product range, alongside an additional nine stores that carry extensive selections. Within these destination stores, major categories such as lawnmowers, edge trimmers, hedge trimmers, the Power for All Battery range, the combisystem, and accessories are showcased in clearly defined sections. This layout, combined with a well-trained staff that understands the entire range, ensures a more time-efficient, educational, and enjoyable shopping experience.

These concept stores are also the first to launch new GARDENA products and ranges, keeping South African gardeners at the cutting edge of global gardening innovation. By investing in these retail spaces, GARDENA is strengthening its position as the leading brand for high-quality garden products while making it easier than ever for consumers to access its premium tools this gardening season.
