BMG to open retail concept

“The success of the first BMG Fasteners retail concept store, which was established in Durban in 2012, is the inspiration of a new specialist tooling and equipment retail store in Kimberley,” says Darryl Campbell, General Manager, BMG’s tools and equipment division, adding, “Two more retail stores will be opened in Delmas and Richards Bay in the second quarter of 2013.

“BMG’s new retail concept offers our diverse customer base the convenience of hand picking and choosing from a wide range of tooling products, available off the shelf in these stores. These products include quality brands such as Gedore, Metabo, Bosch, Klingspor, Wera, Fluke, Megger, Atlas Copco, Ingersol Rand, Hit, Somta, Bahco, Crescent and Eclipse products,” says he.

Man Dirk’s house brands are Maxpower, John Leo and JBL, which are widely accepted in various industries, particularly mining houses. Other products include hand and power tools, tool kits, personal protective equipment, locks and lockouts, lifting equipment and environmental products. The range also encompasses measuring and testing equipment, welding and abrasives, as well as cutting and workshop equipment.

These new specialist stores also offers a technical advisory and support service to ensure the correct product is selected for each specific application.
